How to solve the leakage of anticorrosive breathing valve in time?
The anticorrosive breathing valve is designed and manufactured by applying the principle of flame extinguishment when the flame passes through the narrow pores of the heat conductor. The fire barrier layer structure of the flame arrester has gravel type, metal mesh type or corrugated type. Flame arrester is a safety device used to prevent the spread of gas and liquid flames and prevent flashbacks from causing explosions. It is usually installed on storage tanks and pipelines that transport or discharge gas. Its role is to prevent external flames from penetrating into equipment or pipelines containing gas or to prevent flames from spreading between equipment and pipelines.
Anti-corrosion breathing valve is mainly used to control the operation of fluid media on various equipment and its pipelines. Leakage often occurs on packings, flange seals and valve bodies. Long-term leakage can constitute erosion of valve stem and flange sealing surfaces. Disabling the fire-resistance breathing valve and the loss of the medium fluid will increase the consumption cost of the power plant and reduce the economic benefits. If the medium fluid is toxic, explosive, corrosive and other leakage, it will easily cause poisoning, fire, blast and other casualties and accelerate the corrosion rate of plant equipment, shorten the service life of the anti-corrosion breathing valve, pollute the surrounding environment in severe cases, and damage power production , Endanger everyone's physical health. The existence of leakage seriously threatens the safe production and increases the number of non-planned shutdowns of power plants. The following introduces some anti-corrosion breathing valve leakage factors and methods of plugging, as well as repair and protection methods of fire blocking breathing valves, for reference.
It often happens that the pressure of the storage tank does not reach the set pressure of the breathing valve, and the breathing valve is already exhausted. Even when the pressure in the storage tank is small, there may be a case where gas is discharged. This is clearly caused by a leak in the breathing valve. Leakage is not allowed now, causing waste of materials and polluting the air.
There are three main causes of air leaks:
1. The valve plate positioning rod is shifted, causing the set pressure to be reached.
2. The use time is long, because the internal materials of the storage tank are dirty, when the gas passes through the breathing valve, solid particles will solidify on the valve disc and valve seat, making the contact surface uneven, and it will also cause air leakage. The solution to this situation: Remove the breathing valve components, clean the contact surface between the valve disc and the valve seat with a cleaning agent, and if necessary, use high-precision sandpaper to smooth the contact surface.
3. The gasket is cracked or damaged, which will lead to poor sealing and air leakage. If the gasket of the anticorrosive breathing valve is cracked or damaged, it should be replaced in time.
